Bill Nos. 060961 and 060966 Amending the FY2007-2012 Capital Program (Bill No. 060001, approved on June 8, 2006) and the FY2007 Capital Budget (Bill No. 060002, approved on June 8, 2006) by decreasing project amounts in certain departments and increasing projects amounts in other departments.   4. South Street Bridge Reconstruction

    1. Bill No. 060893 An Ordinance authorizing and directing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan Nos. 11-S, 42, 43, 97, 269, and 308 by placing on the City Plan South Street from its current terminus northwest of the northwesterly Pierhead and Bulkhead Line of Schuylkill River to the northwesterly Pierhead and Bulkhead Line of the Schuylkill River, widening South Street by 8' on the Northeasterly side from 32nd Street to northwesterly Pierhead and Bulkhead Line of the Schuylkill River, widening South Street on the southwesterly side by 8' from Convention Avenue to the northwesterly Pierhead and Bulkhead Line of the Schuylkill River, placing a certain triangular portion on the westerly corner of Convention Avenue and South Street, placing a certain triangular portion at the intersection of southwesterly side of South Street and the southeasterly side of CSX Railroad Right-of-Way line and widening the northeasterly side of South Street by a variable width from the southeasterly Pierhead and Bulkhead line of the Schuylkill River to a point approximately 254' west of the westerly side of 27th Street.

    2. Bill No. 060894 An ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the city, to acquire by condemnation or by purchase in lieu of condemnation certain easements for the purpose of public right of way for a new bridge crossing the Schuylkill River through South Street. (Introduced by Councilmember Blackwell and Council President Verna on November 30, 2006.) (William Erickson)
