REDEVELOPMENT AREA PLANS, DISTRICT PLANS AND OTHER PLANNING REPORTS (1946 TO 1990)


The University of Pennsylvania maintains a website presenting 89 selected Planning Commission reports published between 1946 and 1990. Penn's Philadelphia Neighborhoods Project is sponsored by the Schoenberg Center for Electronic Text and Image (SCETI) at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries.

Included are district plans for Center City, North, Northwest and West Philadelphia, 40 redevelopment area plans, riverfront plans, and assorted neighborhood studies and area plans. The reports can be accessed by browsing the titles or using an interactive map of the city.
