| The Community Planning Division is a staff of nine planners responsible for district planning, neighborhood planning, urban renewal planning, citizen outreach and transportation studies related to community development. On this page you will find information on the district plans that began in June 2011 as part of the Philadelphia2035 comprehensive planning process. Our Community Planning Guidelines also appear below. Additionally this website contains area plans, maps of community organizations, the Philadelphia Rowhouse Manual, and directories of Community Planning staff. There is a link to more than 70 blight and redevelopment reports produced since 2000. In the third category below, there are links to independent community-based plans that are formally accepted by PCPC under the guidelines. Many of the plans and documents are presented as .pdf files. Adobe Acrobat Reader and browser plug-ins forviewing .pdf files are available free from the Adobe Website.
